Game Movie Night 8/20/10

So, Drd has this idea that we should see Scott Pilgrim vs. the world.

7:45pm (7:30pm for those that run on minion time).

Lake in the Thrills theater.

Sad this is the first Friday the 13th where we don’t have scary movie night, but I popped a rib out of place twice in the same week. I’m recovered but it’s painful, so I think rest is in order today.

Or as I like to call it: “Brian doesn’t have cancer (mole), hasn’t smoked in 4 weeks and got his security+ fun lan extravaganza!”

Computer unloads: 7:00pm

Gaming starting: 8:00pm

Dates: 8/6 – 8/8 with people getting the boot on 8/8 after 12:00pm. (or later if you’re still snoozing)

Gaming focus: Starcraft 2 (ironic I know), and Left for Dead 2.

What I will provide: paper cups, plates, toilets w/ fine paper, electricity, 55” LED tv, 360, ps3, the potential for both unlimited water and urine creation, propane grill w/ propane accessories, oven, microwave, FREE cat comforts from Butters, assorted random meals / snacks but nothing guaranteed or known at the time of this posting.

Brizo Bylaws: Alcohol and energy drinks only (suggesting more on the energy drink side if you want to roll on Shabbas), Please please please be like church mice outside. voices carry further than you think and my neighbors already look at me funny.

Parking: If you’re on the street after 2:00am you have to call it in to the LITH police non-emergency number. Just giving them the license plate.

Don’t want to show? no worries! Steam and Battle.net can support your lazy ass from home. Just get a Mic. We’ll have a vent server.

If you could let me know you’re coming…. that’d be cool too.

Ribfest is upon us!

Entry is $5. I’d bring like $20 if you plan on ribs and beer.

You can arrive at our pad as early as 6:30. We’ll be beginning our walk to the ribfest about 7:30 or so. If you can’t make it that early, just park in front of our house and walk over to sunset park.

After we’re sufficiently ribbed out, Little big planet / Rockband 2 awaits.

So, We have this blu-ray ninja movie right? Could be good, could be bad. We be watching it. 7:30 arrival, movie starts at 8. I’m done by 12:00am (and hopefully won’t fall asleep quicker than that).

Well, I’ll be up for some smallworld tonight. This week has been stressy as hell and I’m really tired after work. Like cross-eyed sleepy stuff.
Having -that- said, I think I should be able to make it to at least 12 and will have coffee for those that want it! Bring whatever board game / card game you’d like. I also have the 360 or ps3, so if you’d rather just be anti-social while still being somewhat social, feel free to just play that or bring your fav. game.

*edit* For some reason the calendar below says 6:30 to 11:00pm…. it’s actually 7:30pm to 12:00am. Looks like I got some fixin’ to do.
